Trust

Trust is such a delicate and yet magical word in relationships. If you can learn to trust your partner, you'd have a lover, a best friend, and a confidant all in one. Trust can do so many happy things to a relationship, but the best thing it can do is bring both of you closer, avoid pain and hurt, and make both of you fall more in love with each other every day, every hour, every minute, every second. Trust is the foundation of a relation. ship. You can't build a house without the foundation, just like you can't build love and happiness without trust.
Invasion of privacy is the worse crime that can be committed within a relationship. Guys and girls, if you're gonna check on your partner's email, twitter, facebook, message, pictures and everything and then tell them "I trust you baby, it's just that i don't trust myself". Bullshits. What you don't trust is your own ability to know or sense when something is wrong and your ability to deal with the things you find out.
Prying, spying, snooping, lying and acting.
They are the perfect formula to kill a relationship.
There's a reason why wee have doors on our bedrooms, and it is not just to keep out the light or the noise when we're trying to fall asleep. It is to give us some privacy where we can completely relax, knowing that no one will see whatever it is we are doing. This is privacy, I need my privacy. I really do.
What's a healthy relationship? What makes a healthy relationship? What can we do to have a healthy relationship? (In my opinion........)
- Communicating
- Motivating
- Supporting
- Compromising
- Respecting
Respect. Respecting each others' privacy is very important. Just because we're in a relationship, does not mean that you have to share everything and constantly be together. Likewise, I don't share does not mean that I don't love.
Alright, too lazy to carry on. Anyway since many will argue that you can't be close with someone without sharing, and sharing means relinquishing some privacy. So what should couple and lovers prioritize? Their openness or their privacy? And what's the difference between transparency and invasion of privacy?
